Double XP and SP and Free Teleports
April 20 - April 27, 2011
Celebrate seven years of Lineage II with seven days of double experience points and skill points and seven days of free teleports. Your characters also receive full Vitality when the event begins!

Double XP/SP is a server-wide setting that affects all characters, regardless of class, level, and account type. All experience points and skill points gained from hunting monsters are doubled. This effect stacks with all Vitality-related items. (Experience points gained from quests are not doubled.) During this week, all Gatekeepers throughout Aden also offer free teleports.

Double XP/SP starts and finishes after server maintenance. Every character's Vitality will also be set to maximum during the maintenance that begins the event. Watch the server maintenance page for information on maintenance times for the event.




Anniversary Account Reactivation
April 20 - May 4, 2011
On April 20, we reactivate all inactive accounts in good standing so that veteran players can join the 7th Anniversary Celebration to play for free*!

Don't worry, we're not charging you to play* nor are we changing anything about your account's payment options. When an inactive account is reactivated during a promotion like this, the account owner does not pay, and re-occurring billing is not turned back on.

The account reactivation ends at 8 a.m. PDT on May 4, 2011. After then, unsubscribed accounts can no longer log in to the game. (Trial accounts and banned accounts are not included in the reactivation.)

* An Internet connection is required to play, and you are responsible for such fees.




Anniversary Subscription Rewards
April 20 - May 4
Enjoy special anniversary subscription rewards for all players, whether new, returning, or existing!


•One Month Subscription: Add a one-month subscription plan to your account between April 20 and May 4, 2011, and receive a Hero's Treasure Chest on May 11, 2011 (new or returning accounts only).

•60 Day Time Card: Apply a code from a 60-day time card to your Lineage II game account between April 20 and May 4, 2011, and receive a 7th Anniversary Cloak - Pitch Black and a Hero's Treasure Chest on May 11, 2011 (new, returning, or existing accounts).

•Three-Month +1 Subscription: Change your subscription to the special three month +1 subscription plan between April 20 and May 4, 2011, and receive one month of free game time, a 7th Anniversary Cloak - Pitch Black, and a Hero's Treasure Chest on May 11, 2011 (new, returning, or existing accounts). Subscription Reward Details


•Hero's Treasure Chest

The highest level character on each server of the same game account receives the Hero's Treasure Chest. A Hero's Treasure Chest contains a huge amount of items that will fully equip your character from D-grade through S-grade. A character can open the chest once the character has passed its first class transfer (into D-grade). The chest detects the character's class type and automatically gives the character the appropriate items.

For grades D through A, the chest holds one full armor set, one full accessory set, and one weapon per grade. For S-grade, it holds at least two full armor sets, two full accessory sets, and multiple weapons (some versatile classes get more than two sets; read the full list of contents here). Each item lasts 90 days from the time that the Hero's Treasure Chest is opened. These items cannot be exchanged, dropped or shared.

The Hero's Treasure Chest itself cannot be exchanged, dropped, or destroyed. It can be shared between characters on the same server and same game account by talking to a Dimensional Merchant NPC in-game. The Hero's Treasure Chest can only be shared via the Dimensional Merchant when unopened. The items inside cannot be transferred to different characters.

Any Hero's Treasure Chests that are unopened as of August 10, 2011 will be removed during that day's maintenance. If a character opens the Hero's Treasure Chest before that date, the character will not be affected by the removal.


•7th Anniversary Cloak - Pitch Black
The highest-level character on each server of the same game account receives this dashing Lineage II 7th Anniversary commemorative cloak. It can be equipped by a character wearing a full set of armor of Dynasty quality or better. It cannot be enchanted, augmented, or have its attributes enhanced. It cannot be exchanged, dropped or destroyed. It can be shared between characters on the same server and same game account by talking to a Dimensional Merchant NPC in-game/



Anniversary Letters Event
April 27 - May 11, 2011
The traditional Anniversary Letters Event returns! Hunt all over Aden to find magical letter blocks dropped by monsters. Combine the letters to create specific words and turn in those words to receive rewards.

How Do I Participate?

Go hunting anywhere in the world. Blocks engraved with letters drop as loot from monsters your character hunts. The letter items can be sold, dropped, and exchanged. Collect letters until you can spell "Lineage II" or "NCsoft." Go to any town and visit the Angel Cat NPC. Turn in either of these two words (that collection of letters) to receive a random reward from that word's reward list.

How Long Does the Anniversary Letters Event Last?

Monsters will drop letters from April 27 to May 4. From May 4 to May 11, monsters will no longer drop letters, but existing letters can still be traded and turned in. On May 11, Angel Cat leaves, and all remaining letters will be removed. The rewards you receive from turning in letter collections remain in the game.

What Kind of Rewards Can I Get?

Every turn-in gives you two or three Letter Collector's Gift items, along with another random reward that depends on what letters you turn in.

Letter Collector's Gift: Upon use, a Letter Collector's Gift increases Atk. Spd. by 15%, Magic Casting Spd. by15%, and Speed by 20 for 2 hours. As a nostalgic gesture, using a Letter Collector's Gift also changes the appearance of the using character's equipped weapon and armor to look like the D-grade equivalent. Reuse time of this item is 60 minutes. The item can be exchanged, traded, and sold.

"Lineage II" Turn-In: Turn in the letters L, I, N, E, A, G, E, and II receive one of the following rewards (random chance among those listed) along with the Letter Collector's Gift:

7th Anniversary Celebration Gift

As a token of appreciation and to celebrate Lineage II's 7th anniversary, we are sending everyone a special 7th anniversary celebration gift. After the completion of maintenance on April 27, the highest level character on each server on every Lineage II game account will receive a 7th Anniversary Pack in its private warehouse.

This 7th Anniversary Pack contains:



•5 Revita Pops: Tasty candy that fully replenishes Vitality. Re-use time is 60 minutes. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, destroyed, or shared.

•5 Vitality Maintaining Potions: Maintains your character's Vitality at the same level for 30 minutes. Reuse time is 60 minutes. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, destroyed, or shared.

•1 Kadomas Transformation Stick: Transforms a character into Kadomas, a living, magical bamboo plant that shoots fireworks. Expires 7 days after the gift box is opened. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, destroyed, or shared.

•1 Zaken Spirit Sword Agathion: A bracelet that summons Zaken's Spirit Swords. Expires 7 days after the gift box is opened. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, destroyed, or shared. Agathion bestows a skill that increases Max HP and Max MP by 40%, Atk. Spd. by 20%, and P. Atk. by 10% for 30 minutes, with a reuse delay of 2 hours.

•5 Fresh Milks: Freshly collected milk. When used, character gains Might, Haste, Empower, Acumen, Wind Walk, Vampiric Rage, Berserker Spirit, Shield, Focus, Death Whisper, Guidance, Clarity, Wild Magic, and Concentration effects for 1 hour. Cannot be exchanged, dropped or destroyed. Can be shared via Dimensional Merchants.

•1 Black Gem Mask Vitality: A black gem mask accessory made of a lustrous metal. When equipped, grants a skill that maintains Vitality that can be used every hour. Expires 7 days after the gift box is opened. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, destroyed, or shared.

•10 Super Healthy Juices: Magic juice that instantly fully restores HP. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, or destroyed. Can be shared via Dimensional Merchants.


The 7th Anniversary Pack and some of the items inside can be shared between characters on the same server and of the same game account by talking to a Dimensional Merchant NPC in-game. The 7th Anniversary Pack can only be shared via the Dimensional Merchant when unopened. Some of the items inside cannot be transferred via the Dimensional Merchant.

Any 7th Anniversary Pack unopened as of June 8, 2011 will be removed during that day's maintenance. If a character opens the pack before this date, the character will not be affected by the removal.





Anniversary Endgame Cloak
April 27, 2011
All characters that have a level 80 or above class (main class or subclass) as of 12 p.m. (noon) PDT (other time zones here) on April 25, 2011, receive a dramatic 7th Anniversary Cloak - Blood Red on April 27. This distinctive cloak shows everyone that your character is one of the true heroes who have made history since the beginning of Lineage II.

The cloak can be equipped by a character wearing a full set of armor of Dynasty quality or better. It cannot be enchanted, augmented, or have its attributes enhanced. It cannot be exchanged, dropped, or destroyed. It can be shared between characters on the same server and same game account by talking to a Dimensional Merchants NPC in-game.

7th Anniversary Celebration Bonus Gift

The 7th Anniversary Celebration continues! This anniversary merits an extra and even higher quality gift box, so that's what we're giving to our cherished players. After the completion of maintenance of May 4, the highest level character on each server on every Lineage II game account will find a 7th Anniversary Bonus Pack in its private warehouse*.

This 7th Anniversary Bonus Pack contains:

•1 Pearl White Festival Cloak: A Lineage II 7th anniversary commemorative item. Can be equipped by a character wearing a full set of armor of Dynasty quality or better. Cannot be enchanted, augmented, or have its attributes enhanced. Cannot be exchanged, dropped, or destroyed. Can be shared via Dimensional Merchants.
•10 Fresh Milks: Freshly collected milk. The 7th Anniversary Bonus Pack can only be shared via the Dimensional Merchant when unopened. Some of the items inside cannot be shared via the Dimensional Merchant.
